On Wednesday 25th July about 30 members and xyl’s enjoyed our summer bar-be-cue night when Pam G4STO and Steve M5ZZZ cooked burgers and sausages for all present. Pam was first to arrive followed closely by Steve in order to get the bar-be-cue set up in the BSA Club car park. It was disappointing only a few members could make it to our ‘posh’ bar-be-cue today, perhaps the ‘posh’ bit put folk off but it was only posh because we had salads followed by creamy puddings; I think 500 calories a slice! Everyone present seemed to enjoy themselves although Steve didn’t do a very good job at organising the weather, dry but cool; I felt Pam did an excellent job with the food, as usual she was worried in case there wasn’t enough to go around but also as usual, she over catered!! Thank you for you patience and now trying to build up the new website as quickly as possible. There was a rogue script that was backing up the website every 2.5 minutes which made it impossible to access the back-end of the website to sort it out. Because of this problem the website was switched off and it was decided that it would be easier and quicker to delete the website which would include the rogue script and start again from scratch.
