As I was traveling to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre early this morning, looking up at the dark cloudy sky, I though of yesterday with all the rain. I thought to myself we were in for another wet day, I was wrong as it turned out very sunny and it was a pleasure to be there. Continue reading →GB2CWP Will be Active on the Monday 4th June
The Lincoln Short Wave Club Special Event station GB2CWP at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre in East Kirkby will be active between 1000hrs and 1600hrs on Monday the 4th of June. We will be operating on all bands using CW and SSB, the T1154/R1155 is limited to only 3 frequencies on 40mtrs CW and will only be used if conditions allow on the 40mtr band. We will be using the more modern equipment on all the other bands.

Thank you for you patience and now trying to build up the new website as quickly as possible. There was a rogue script that was backing up the website every 2.5 minutes which made it impossible to access the back-end of the website to sort it out. Because of this problem the website was switched off and it was decided that it would be easier and quicker to delete the website which would include the rogue script and start again from scratch.
